Put-in-Bay Pooch Parade to benefit Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. $10 entry fee per pooch. Prizes for cutest, smallest, largest, most talented, individual best dressed, group best dressed, dog & owner look-a-like and most unique. Each entrant receives a "doggy goodie bag". Registration begins at 1 p.m. at the DeRivera Park gazebo, parade & contest begins at 1:30. |

Rally on the Rock During Ohio Bike Week |
Put-in-Bay will host a Music Festival on Wednesday and Thursday, June 9-10, and motorcycle and related vendors will sell their wares around DeRivera Park downtown Wednesday through Sunday at the Put in Bay's Rally on the Rock. More than 200 bikes are expected to make the trip to the island. Bike Parade, Miss Rally on the Rock, Rally King & Queen contests and Tattoo Contest. Annual Hog Roast and Poker Run on Sunday at the Put-in-Bay Resort & Conference Center. |

16th Annual Phlocking of the Phaithful |
Jimmy Buffett where are you? About 1,000 "Parrotheads" will descend on Put-in-Bay during their 16th annual "Phlocking" to the island for four days of music and fun. Featuring several singer/songwriters whose music can be compared to that of Jimmy Buffett. Island headquarters is Mr. Ed's Bar at the Commodore Resort. Registration fee includes entertainment, food, goody bag and private events at several island locations. Must be registered in advance at the Phlocking website. |

Perry's Cave Family Fun Center's 36th Annual Jose DeRivera Founder's Day Heritage Celebration |
A celebration of the founding of the island village by Jose DeRivera St. Juergo and the combined heritages of the Puerto Rican founder, the German winemakers and many others who settled here. Sponsored by Perry's Cave Family Fun Center. Founder's Day means good food and lots of fun for the entire family. Held in DeRivera Park downtown from 11 am to 5 pm. The Put-in-Bay Hog Roasters will provide a roast beef picnic lunch. Pick up a bargain at one of the sale tables and pick up information on one of our non-profit groups that rely on the support of our community and visitors. |

US Brig Niagara Day Sails & Ship Tours |
Sail aboard the US Brig Niagara, an historic replica of the US Navy ship that won the Battle of Lake Erie just 10 miles off Put-in-Bay's shore on September 10, 1813. Browns Backers Rib Cook-Off |
Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers Rib Cook-Off from 11 to 5 pm at the Skyway. Meet Cleveland Browns players Felix Wright and 2010 Draft Pick Carlton Mitchell. Reggie Langhorne and Dawg Pound Mike will also be attending. All guests will be available for autographs and pictures. Great food and music. Entry includes drawing for nice door prizes. There will also be a raffle for some great Cleveland Browns prizes. Games and prizes, kids 11 and younger are admitted free. Proceeds benefit the Browns Foundation for Children, island scholarship programs, local non-profit community groups and civic groups. |

16th annual tournament held at Saunders Resort. Sponsored by E-Z GO Golf Carts. Players use just a five-iron and a putter. $10,000 Hole-in-One prize. EZ-GO golf cart is a prize for a second Hole-in-one contest. Entry is $120 per team and includes lots of prizes, greens fees, players kit, picnic lunch (steak, burgers, dogs), all beverages, etc. First tee time is 9 am and final tee time is 6 pm. *Put-in-Bay Pirate Fest |
Pirates invade Put-in-Bay's downtown harbor Friday at 4 p.m. to open the 2010 Put-in-Bay Pirate Fest. Saturday has a Pirate Parade and Costume Contest for adults. The Most Original Adult Pirate Costume wins a 5-day vacation in the Cayman Islands this November during Pirate fest. Sunday, Capt. Willie gives his Kid's Safety Program and there is a Kids Costume Parade and Contest. Monday is the infamous Cardboard Boat Races. The Brig Niagara returns to protect the harbor from maurading pirates. Pirate Marketplace throughout the weekend. Black powder and canon firing demonstrations. Reenactors demonstrate sword fighting techniques and the art of skullduggary. The Niagara will offer Day Sails on Friday, Saturay and Sunday and and tours of the ship on Friday and Saturday. You can book a reservation onboard for an educational sail around the islands through the Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce. |
