Most of Put-in-Bay restaurants have full service bars and also offer live entertainment. Some venues have entertainment in the afternoons and in the evenings. The legal drinking age in Ohio is 21 and some of the bars that offer entertainment maintain a 21 and older policy for admittance.
   The Put in Bay bar and tavern menus offer just about any libation you can think of. Full menus of martinis, margaritas, summer drinks, ice cream drinks, signature drinks and domestic and imported beers and wines are common on the island.
   Several of our hotels and resorts also have Tiki bars and may have their own rules and regulations for bringing in your own alcohol. Check before making reservations.
   Put-in-Bay also offers a full line of island made wines from Heineman Winery, established in 1888 and still operated by the Heineman family. Put in Bay also has a brew pub, the Put-in-Bay Brewing Company, that specializes in small batch microbrews produced on the island. 
   Our business community wants you to enjoy yourself and have fun during your visit, but reminds you to drink responsibly. Put-in-Bay is in Ohio and upholds the laws of the state of Ohio which prohibits open containers of alcohol. Open containers of alcohol are not allowed in public areas, such as public streets and roadways, the village park, etc.
