Put-in-Bay offers its visitors and local residents are large variety of activities and events to enjoy during the resort season.

Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial will host the families of servicemen and women from the area in May for a "Kids Salute to the Troops".

In June, the island celebrates its 36th annual Old Island Day (formerly Founders Day) with a old fashioned park fair, kids games, picnic lunch and entertainment. Later in June is the annual Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers' Rib Burn-off with Browns Fanatics and several special guests--including former Browns players. The next day is the 16th annual 5-Iron Golf Classic at Saunders Golf Course. The 9-hole tournament is played with just a 5 iron and a putter.

Then, June 25-28, Put-in-Bay celebrates its "Pirate Fest" with a visit from the US Brig Niagara, which will offer "Day Sails" around the islands as well as tours.

In July, Independence Day is celebrated with a 30-minute fireowrks program shot off over the downtown harbor.

September and October also offer many activities and festivals.

The weekend after Labor Day is the annual Historical Weekend, a celebration of history, music and art. The second weekend is the 38th annual New Years Eve Weekend. Also that weekend is the annual Half-Way to St. Patty's Day on September 18.

In October Put in Bay's popular Island Wine Festival and Oktoberfest are held back to back weekends.
