Palm Sunday commemorates the entrance of Christ into Jerusalem, when followers placed palm branches in His path. This was before His arrest on Holy Thursday and His Crucifixion on Good Friday. Palm Sunday, celebrated the Sunday before Easter, marks the beginning of Holy Week, the final week of Lent.
